Dr. Marchela Koleva has graduated from the Higher Medical Institute, city of Sofia in 1992. From 1995 to 2012 she has worked and specialized medical oncology at University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment Tsaritsa Yoana - ISUL. From June 2012 to April 2013 she has worked at MHAT Serdika at a medical oncology ward. Since April 2013 she is a head of the medical oncology ward of MHAT Sofiamed. Dr. Koleva has specialized oncology in Austria, Belgium and UK.
She is a member of a series of European professional organizations. She is a member of the managing board of the Bulgarian Association of Medical Oncology, chairperson of the ethical committee of club “Young Oncologist”, member of the Bulgarian Oncology Society. Dr. Koleva has authored over 20 publications in the field of oncology, co-authored “Victoria”- a programme for rehabilitation of patients with breast cancer.
She is a member of a series of European professional organizations. She is a member of the managing board of the Bulgarian Association of Medical Oncology, chairperson of the ethical committee of club “Young Oncologist”, member of the Bulgarian Oncology Society. Dr. Koleva has authored over 20 publications in the field of oncology, co-authored “Victoria”- a programme for rehabilitation of patients with breast cancer.
