Education
Graduated the Thracian Medical University in 1995, after which he worked at the University Hospital where he started from the position assistant then became resident and finally chief resident. Dr. Vlaev has earned two medical specializations: orthopaedics and traumatology, and general medicine. He has specialized several times in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria. He completed a one year specialization in Moscow, Russia specifically for reconstructive surgery of the upper limbs. Additionally, he has completed his certification course for Arthroscopic Joint Surgery. Dr. Vlaev is an active member of Bulgarian Scientists Union, MSF (Doctors Without Borders) , MENSA, and served as a doctor on the Bulgarian Antartic Expedition 2010. He has been a member of our team since our hospital opening.
