Emil Krastev, MD - Head of Ward: graduated from the Higher Medical Institute, city of Sofia in 1987. He starts his career as an intern at the surgery ward. For more than ten years he works at the Clinic of urgent neurosurgery of MHAT Tsaritsa Yoana, and from 2001 to 2012 he is a Head of vascular neurosurgery ward of the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment and Urgent Medicine N. I. Pirogov.

Ако някой знае какво означава диагнозата "глиобластом" на мозъка и каква е продължителността на живот при тези пациенти ще разбере защо пиша тук с такова уважение за д-р Кръстев. Способен хирург с човещина в отношението към пациентите си. Най-малкото което мога да напиша за този човек. Не само два пъти спасява живота на съпруга ми,а и прояви нуждата съпричасност към болката ни. Съпруга ми за съжаление не можа да се пребори с болестра, но и двамата му бяхме, а и аз сега съм благодарна за времето което ни подари за да сме заедно още малко.
