Education
Associate Professor Chervenkov graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1987. After his graduation which he began working as a rotational intern in the General Hospital in Silistra, Bulgaria. In 1988 he served as a resident in the university hospital Sveta Ekaterina in the vascular surgery clinic. In 1992 he met the clinical access requirements for the United States Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates ECFMG and received his certification, and one year later he received his U.S. Federal Licensing Examination (FLEX) certification.
Dr. Chervenkov received his medical specialization in general surgery in Bulgaria after which from 1995 to 1998 he continued his specialization in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery in the Carolinas Medical Center located in Charlotte, NC under the mentor-ship of Professor Francis Robichek. He received his specialization in vascular surgery in 1999, and in 2001-2001 he earned an additional specialization in the endovascular treatment of peripheral vascular diseases in the same U.S. medical centre.
Dr. Chervenkov came back Bulgaria and defended his dissertation upon the theme “The surgical treatment of obstruction of the arteries of the lower extremities (below the hip)” and received his PhD. Dr. Chervenkov has numerous scientific medical publications in national and international medical journals, regularly participates in international medical forums, and is an active member of the European Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Before joining our hospital team, he was the chief resident of the vascular surgery clinic of the university hospital Sveta Ekaterina.

От човещината и високата квалификация. Бях пациент на клиниката (не се знае дали няма пак да бъда) - целият екип (д- Червенков, д-р Марков, д-р Балездров, д-р Горчева и особено д-р Томов, както и медицинските сестри) положи огромни усилия да спаси крака ми при усложнени и спешни условия. Сърдечни благодарности!

Това, което е написала потребителката за прегледите при доц. Червенков ми е много трудно да го повярвам. Аз имам само добри впечатления както от него, така и от целия му екип - д-р Ценов, д-р Кавалджиев, доц. Станева, д-р Балездров, д-р Марков, д-р Николов. Майка ми се лекува при тях и два пъти лежа в Токуда в Съдова хирургия. Толкова човешко и професионално отношение съм сигурна, че се среща много рядко в българска болница. И до ден днешен майка ми звъни за консултация в отделението и никога, ама никога не са и отказвали такава.
Аз бях на платен преглед при доц. Червенков преди месец и също платих 50 лв.Не само, че ми направиха ужасно подробен преглед с доплер (ехограф), но освен доцента ме консултираха и доц. Станкова и още една мила докторка, на която не запомних името. Доцента е много зает и постоянно "хвърчи" между отделението, операционната и кабинета. Ако не е имал време да обърне по-подробно внимание на някой пациент за преглед, то можете да бъдете сигурни, че е бил зает с по-тежък случай, защото за времето, което прекарах при майка в Токуда, не го видях нито веднъж да седне този човек. Господ здраве да им дава на всички Лекари с главно "Л" от Съдова хирургия на болница Токуда.

Искам да изразя възмущението си от болница Токуда. Днес посетих болницата и по-конкретно съдов хирург. Часът ми беше записан за доцент Червенков, началник а съдова хирургия. Учудването ми беше голямо, когато се оказа че първоначално заплащаш за преглед и манипулация без да знаеш какво ще ти правят. Заплатих 50 лева за консултация и доплер изследване без да знам дали въобще ми е необходимо такова изследване. Учудването ми се увеличи след като констатирах, че раздадените часове за пациенти платен прием са през 10 минути. След половин час доцента се появи, след още десет минути ме приеха, като вместо него някаква жена, която не се представи ме покани вътре. Стоейки прави, без да погледне изследвания, без да ме изслуша предписа лечение за следващите 9 месеца. Изследване на доплер не беше направено, а и консултация от доцента не получих. И как е възможно да получиш консултация, като часовете на хората са през десет минути. Какво можеш да направиш за десет минути, можеш ли да изслушаш пациента за десет минути, можеш ли за десет минути да му определиш диагноза и да му назначиш лечение на който и да е болен?
