He graduated from the Medical University, Sofia in 1998. From 2000 to 2013 he works at University hospital for multiprofile active treatment and emergency medicine N. I. Pirogov at Surgery Ward IV. From 1998 to 2013 he specializes in the field of mini-invasive surgery in Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, Croatia, the USA, Romania, and Bulgaria. He defends a PhD thesis with subject: “Possibilities and indications for application of laparoscopic surgery in acute appendicitis”.
