Dr. Markov graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1992. There he has earned two specializations: in general surgery and in vascular surgery. After his graduation he began working at the University Hospital Sveta Ekaterina, where he gained 14 years of valuable experience, one year in cardiac surgery and the remaining 13 years in vascular surgery department.
Dr. Markov has been a member of our department since we began serving the public. He has participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences, and is currently writing his doctoral thesis entitled "Complications of Thromboendarterectomy (TEA) of the carotid arteries”.
